In our advanced life coaching practice, our mission is to empower individuals to lead more productive and fulfilling lives with greater hope, meaning, and purpose. We focus on the healing benefits of "Brief Recovery Work" (BRW) to facilitate one's recovery from the hold and influence of depressive and anxiety issues. To achieve this, BRW approaches recovery from three powerful therapeutic means,
1) The unique application of "recovery drivers," which are assessed from one's life, which goes unrecognized by mainstream psychiatric and mental health services, is interviewed to elevate their powerful effects. Through our unique Life Coaching interview process, the "recovery drivers" are utilized as a gateway for individuals to awaken their strengths and positive sense of self, which further elevates their sense of hope, meaning and purpose in life that can be greatly diminished by failed treatment results. Research has ascertained that positive emotions and positive self-regard can change brain chemistry that affects mood conditions like anxiety and depression, which in turn shifts the illness chemistry to a recovery chemistry. The experience of BRW brightens the person's outlook on life and its possibilities, leaving one feeling greatly empowered, a very liberating experience, compared with where they are presently. As a result, this impact both weakens and diminishes the grip and influence of anxiety or depression conditions on one's life, where Illness-Led Living transitions to Person-Led Living, a strong recovery position.
2) Consideration for Nutritional factors impeding recovery that keep the depression and anxiety alive can be addressed along a plan developed that would drive recovery forward. When addressed, the brain & body begin to feel good, gain strength and acquire greater energy. This, in turn, brightens the person's outlook, leading to a feeling of greater hope, meaning, and purpose. This body-mind-connection in recovery degrades the grip and strength of depression and anxiety's influence on one's life.
3) BRW also consider hurdles to recovery as determined by the person. Our Life Coaching for mental health practice employs a unique method that decreases the stress and burden felt by these hurdles while strengthening one's personal capacity to see that they are stronger than they think they are. This, in turn, alters the way these illness conditions are seen and carried. The impact of this method in-combination with the recovery drivers and nutrition upgrades leads to a person living a richer, Person-Led life where Illness-Oriented Living is turned upside down, a very freeing experience.
The synergistic combination of our advanced Life Coaching methods in BRW complements both medications, case work, psychotherapy and peer work.

In this advanced life coaching program with Brief Recovery Work (BRW), the flames of depression & anxiety are tamed & subdued through the therapeutic application of BRW, allowing the person to move beyond Illness Living, even when medications are not enough. Through the practice, the person begins to live their life with greater hope, meaning, purpose and this in turn weakens the strength, grip and influence of the mental illness (s) impact on one's life. In such a strong recovery position, the individual experiences what is also known as "Person-Centered Living" or "Person-Led Living", where they regain ownership of their life. This is a very empowering and freeing experience. This way of living can be yours too. -Live Your Life ǀǀ Not Your Diagnosis-
In this taste of a BRW interview, the interviewee "K", who lives with trauma-induced depression, has agreed to engage in this demonstration video to offer her impressions on this style of practice. She chose her dog, named Petal, "recovery driver" that feeds her Soul among others. In BRW, the gateway to seeing greater meaning, hope and strength is leveraged through the person's "recovery drivers". (Note: the nutritional component or the hurdles to recovery are not addressed in this clip)

"Live Your Life ǀǀ Not Your Diagnosis"
This Life Coaching for mental health focused on Brief Recovery Work (BRW) for depression & anxiety provides an innovative and thought-provoking therapeutic approach. Unlike traditional approaches to mental health treatment, which can sometimes feel too clinical and detached from one’s personal experiences, Brief Recovery Work focuses on the unique attributes and strengths of the individual that arise through the unique application of recovery drivers, native to the individual's life and through nutrition, remedying what presently supports the conditions of anxiety and depression. Through these new methods of discourse, the person's strengths can be harnessed to reclaim one’s life and agency. This new approach to conceptualizing recovery is transformative, as it allows for new options and paths of healing. I recommend this practice for those interested in taking an active more informed role in their mental health, and for those who work as mental health professionals.
